CLAT 2020 Latest Updates

PRESS RELEASE
The Executive Committee of the Consortium of NLUs met at the Permanent Secretariat in NLSIU, Bangalore on 11.12.2019 at 10 a.m.
The Executive Committee elaborately discussed the modalities that were initiated in the previous meeting in planning for the CLAT 2020.
The following agenda was discussed:
      1.     The schedule for CLAT 2020 was discussed and approved. The details tentative of   schedule are given below
      

2. The proposed content for CLAT 2020 was discussed in detail:
a) A general guide to question format was approved to indicate the comprehension based Test;
b) Paper setter shall always keep in mind the 12th standard level of students appearing for CLAT 2020;
c) Quantitative analysis will be based on 10th standard mathematics content.
d) There shall be 150 objective type questions.
e) Areas:
i) English language
ii) Current affairs including general knowledge
iii) Legal Reasoning
iv) Logical Reasoning
v) Quantitative Techniques
f) Consortium of NLUs website shall provide the necessary guidelines, module-wise model question paper and analysis of question paper.
g) Candidates who enroll for CLAT 2020 alone shall be permitted to access these details from the website of Consortium of NLUs.
h) There shall be a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer for both UG & PG.
     i) LL.M. Admission Test – The candidates who secure 40% (35% in case of SC, ST &  PWD) marks in the objective type test will be qualified for evaluation of descriptive answers. There shall be 100 objective type questions.

  Each of them likes a different brand of clothes viz. Nautica, Arrow, Zara, Mango, Puma, Adidas, Zodiac and Park Avenue but not necessarily in the same order.
  It is also known that
ØOnly three people sit between X and the one who likes Zodiac.
ØV sits second to the right of X.
ØThe one who likes Nautica sits third to the left of Y.
ØY sits third to the left of one who likes Zodiac.
ØOnly three people sit between Y and the one who likes Arrow.
ØW does not likes Arrow.
ØThe one who likes puma sits to the immediate left of K.
ØK is not an immediate neighbor of V.
ØOnly two people sit between the one who likes puma and Zara.
ØM is one of the immediate neighbors of the one who likes Zara.
ØThe one who likes park Avenue sits to the immediate right of L.
ØOnly three people sit between L and the one who likes Adidas.
